Hi, I'm Tasha

Founder and CEO of the Healthy LifeStyle Collective. With nearly 20 years as a certified fitness professional and a background as a professional dancer, my journey in wellness began at just six years old. My extensive dance career included performances with esteemed groups like the Dance Theatre of Harlem and Alvin Ailey Dance Theater.

After earning a degree from Fordham University, I transitioned from dancing to full-time personal training, bringing the discipline and knowledge from my dance background to help clients achieve holistic wellness. I focus on creating personalized wellness plans that fit your lifestyle, advocating for a balanced approach where enjoyment of life, like savoring pizza and wine, is as important as physical and mental health.

I'm Daneal

a dedicated health and fitness expert passionate about enhancing the lives of older adults. With over 15 years in the fitness industry, I've worked with individuals across all age groups, but it's my deep commitment to older adults that truly ignites my passion and purpose.

My fitness journey kicked off at NCAT where I studied Exercise Physiology. The insights and skills I acquired there built a robust foundation for my career. Post-graduation, I joined the gym industry and was fortunate to be mentored by Tasha Cooper, the CEO of HLS. Under her guidance, I quickly rose through the ranks, ultimately managing my own fitness department.

In 2016, I moved to San Francisco, CA, diving into its dynamic fitness scene and working with some of the top trainers at Equinox. This West Coast experience was transformative, blending fun with a fresh enlightening approach to fitness. Inspired, I returned to the DMV area, where I supported the Director of Fitness at Gold's Gym, training and educating new trainers.

The pandemic ushered in new opportunities, leading me to start Solid4 Fitness LLC, focusing on enhancing the health and fitness of older adults. In January 2023, I took on a new role as the Director of Education at HLS, reuniting with Tasha Cooper. This position allows me to leverage our combined expertise to profoundly impact our clients' health and wellness.
